BRASILEIRÃO ENHANCES INTERNATIONAL EXPOSURE WITH LAUNCH OF BRASILEIRÃO PLAY DIGITAL CHANNELS IN ENGLISH AND SPANISH

Brazil’s main soccer championship can now count on the Brasileirão Play platform www.brasileiraoplay.com , with profiles on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube in English and Spanish, so that international audiences can follow closely everything that happens in the tournament.

Next week, as part of the launch, you can watch the match between Palmeiras and Atlético Goianiense live on Facebook.

Buenos Aires / São Paulo – February 18, 2021 – Global Sports Rights Management (GSRM), the company responsible for the international broadcasting rights of Series A and B of the main soccer tournament in Brazil, has announced that the Brasileirão Play platform www.brasileiraoplay.com , its profiles on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, as well as its YouTube channel, are already active in English and Spanish.

As part of GSRM’s strategic plan, which aims at the internationalization of the Brazilian Soccer Championship – global seedbed of the greatest stars of the game –, it is already possible to access from anywhere on the planet outside of Brazil, via the social networks of Brasileirão Play and on any device, exclusive audiovisual material, minute by minute: goals, highlights, the best plays and statistics, among other extras. Additionally, the Brasileirão Play social networks will on occasion be one of the broadcasting tools outside of Brazil for selected matches.

“We are delighted to see how the various stages of this challenge have been successfully reached, as we take the broadcasting of the Brasileirão abroad in its ultimate expression –and it was only a few months ago that we set ourselves this challenge. The launch of the Brasileirão Play social networks is an essential step that will doubtless further increase the size of the base of admirers that Brazilian soccer has all around the world,” said Hernán Donnari, CEO of GSRM.

GSRM has been the holder of the rights since August 2020, for the next four seasons (2020-2023). It uses an associative and innovative commercial model that seeks to ensure greater financial returns for the offering of matches and for the exposure of clubs and their brands abroad. This made it possible to show Series A and B of Brasileirão, since the very first match, via streaming on the Fanatiz platform, on free-to-air TV and on pay TV to more than 100 countries all over the world.

With this new step, the company is continuing to strengthen its digital community through the Brasileirão Play platform and the new channels on social networks, while at the same time expanding the distribution of the tournament at the international level.

You can access Brasileirão Play in English and Spanish from outside of Brazil at www.brasileiraoplay.com and on the following social networks:

Twitter English: @BrasileiraoP_EN ! Twitter Spanish: @Brasileiraoplay  Instagram: @Brasileirao_play
