Sāo Paulo 5th of April 2023. 1190 Sports, a global company dedicated to the management and commercialization of sports broadcasting, image and distribution rights, was selected by private investment companies Serengeti Asset Management and Life Capital Partners (LCP) – partners of Liga Forte Futebol (LFF)- as Sports Business Advisor.

In this role, 1190 Sports, holder of the international broadcasting rights of the Brasileirāo, brings extensive industry expertise and sports business experience to develop a world-class business plan and rights management strategy for the Brasileirão. In this sense, the company has in its portfolio the creation of a process that revolutionized Brazilian football, providing it with unprecedented exposure.

In just over two and a half years, 1190 Sports managed to broadcast games from the Séries A and B of the Brasileirão to more than 150 countries on FTA TV, Pay TV, PPV (pay per view) and streaming, in order to reach a potential audience of +650 MM of people around the world. Today the games are broadcasted in 13 languages, including Portuguese, Spanish, English –this being the first time that distribution in that language takes place in the US– and in China in Mandarin. In addition, the matches are also available on BrasileiraoPlay, the official Brasileirão streaming platform outside Brazil, which has subscribers in over 90 countries. The management and sales of broadcasting rights abroad are considered the main strategic path for the future growth of the Brazilian league.
