The multi-platform agreement covers three seasons (2021-2023) of Series A and B of the Brasileirão Assai Championship, which will be broadcast by Univision in Portuguese and exclusively in Spanish.
Buenos Aires, San Pablo, July 16th, 2021. 1190 Sports, a global company dedicated to the management and sale of sports rights -broadcast, image and distribution-, today announced the signing of a multi-platform agreement with Univision Communications Inc. Through this agreement, the leading Spanish language media and content company in the U.S. will broadcast the A and B Series matches of the Brazilian Championship in Portuguese and exclusively in Spanish in the United States and Puerto Rico.
Univisión will bring the magic of the main Brazilian soccer competition to millions of fans in these territories during three seasons (2021-2023), with the broadcast of 380 games from each of the A and B Series’ championship.
In addition, Univision will also have access to highlights with the best moments of each match, the goals, decisive plays, the main players of the competition, the tournament’s rising stars, stadiums and interviews with the highlights of each game.
